Pierre BEREHOUC began his career in 1994 at Bouygues S.A. Reporting directly to the Secretary General of the Bouygues group, he has been involved in all major Bouygues group strategic projects over the last twenty years : the spin-off of the building and civil engineering activities, the divestiture of non-core assets (Bouygues Offshore, Saur) or diversification into telecoms (Bouygues Telecom) and, more recently, into energy and transport (Alstom).
He was involved in the main disposals, external growth or restructuring operations carried out by the group. He has forged on this occasion a real know-how in the field of mergers & acquisitions in contact with the best legal firms of the place. His practice led him to work on transactions involving both listed and unlisted companies.
He has extensive experience in securities regulation. He has been involved in a large number of capital market transactions (public exchange offer, public share buyback offer, public exit offer, public bond exchange offer), including several bond issues listed in France and abroad.
In 2006, he was appointed general counsel of Bouygues S.A, the parent company of the Bouygues group, which led him to broaden his responsibilities to corporate governance and compliance.
In addition to his duties at Bouygues S.A, he has acquired a solid family office experience by assuming since 2005 the legal direction of a renowned family holding company.
Trained as a lawyer, he decided in 2018 to found his own law firm to assist and advise a clientele of companies, investors and entrepreneurs in the conduct of their strategic operations.
He is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux, holds a master’s degree in business and tax law and a postgraduate diploma in intellectual property law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon Assas, the Bar exam and an LLM from the University of Warwick.
He speaks French and English.
